2025 is a double anniversary, as the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS) celebrates its 200th anniversary and quantum mechanics its 100th anniversary. In honor of this, we are organizing the QTech-Bp conference at the headquarters of the HAS, in the heart of Budapest. The conference aims to give insight into the latest trends in quantum technologies to the general audience and bring together leading researchers to explore the latest breakthroughs in four main directions organized around 4 workshops:

  • SupraHybrids: From Bound states towards Topological Quantum Systems
  • SpinQubits: New directions in Quantum Dot Spin Qubits
  • Atoms&Defects: Workshop on Atoms-based Quantum Technologies and Solid-state Defect Qubits
  • QComputing: Quantum computing from near-term to fault tolerance
