Invited lecture in Ljubljana about quantum random number generation

Our colleague at the Department of Networked Systems and Services at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Ágoston Schranz gave an invited speech at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana (Univerza v Ljubljani) on 27 January. In addition to the faculty's staff and students, the audience also included people representing industrial partners. The presentation introduced our work in the Quantum Information National Laboratory, focusing on quantum random number generation based on measuring the times elapsed between successive photon detections. Apart from listing our previous results, the directions of future research projects in the field were also highlighted during the talk. After the presentation, the audience could ask questions of the speaker.
