The Institute of Advanced Studies of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has awarded its Hans Fischer Senior Fellowship with the according research support to Örs Legeza, the doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS) and a project leader of the Quantum Information National Laboratory, for his excellent results on the tensor factorization methods.
The fellowship, worth 60 thousand euros, with a perspective for further 50 thousand euros as subsidy for research costs, can be awarded to researchers who excel on the international level, and who are working on innovative, high-risk research targets which can be studied in tight cooperation with a research group of the TUM.
