Ádám Gali

Coordinator

Ádám Gali, Doctor of Science of Physics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, professor, group leader of tenured “Lendület” Award group and currently the Frontier Award group. He has a decade experience in studying the solid state defect quantum bits and their potential applications in quantum sensing and quantum communication. He significantly contributed to identification of new quantum bits in technologically mature materials. As a guest researcher and guest professor he spent years at top universities (Harvard University, University of California - Davis, EPFL). He has participated in numerous European quantum technology consortia (FP7, H2020), and is a principal investigator in other domestic and international projects. He is a co-author in >270 peer-review papers with >6500 citations.
