István András Seres

Faculty of Informatics, Eötvös Loránd University

István is an applied cryptographer specialized in the security and privacy aspects of modern blockchains. He finished his Ph.D. at Eötvös Loránd University in 2023 under the supervision of Péter Burcsi. He is passionate about cryptographic problems motivated by real-world applications. Recently, he got interested in helping the secure and efficient post-quantum transitioning of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
