Connection between classical computing and different types of quantum computers opens a new dimension of industrial problem solving. With the spread of classical-quantum mixed algorithms, which have already found their ways to practical applications, it is necessary to develop high-level programming languages which treat classical and quantum constructs at the same semantic level. Coping with the details of this needs collaboration between classical computer scientists and quantum computing experts. The long-term goal is the construction of a universal programming language and related software development tools (compilers, debuggers, profiling and refactoring tools), which make these quantum-enhanced solutions available for software developers without deeper mathematical or physical knowledge. We aim at testing the elements of the newly-developed programming language on an in-house quantum computer emulator, thus opening the possibility of wider application.
